I don't know about you, but lately my body and mind have been feeling antsy. It can be hard to quiet my mind when I'm trying to focus or sleep, and my body doesn't want to be sitting still.
My goal for the next week is to attempt to interrupt this cycle and take a couple of minutes to recenter myself with this walking meditation. I'm hopeful that the movement and the mental focal point will allow for moments of peace.
The attached link is a great resource to lead you through the process of doing a walking meditation. Jo, the author and Episcopal Priest, gives this encouragement: "There is no way to fail at walking meditation or prayer except by giving up."
I invite you to take 5 minutes today to give this a try! Let us know how your experience goes.
My prayer for you today comes from Philippians 4:7 - "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
