In the Nebraska Synod, we're growing disciples, walking together, and serving God's world. This is our shared work of discipleship and stewardship, as we follow God's invitation and respond to all of God's work and promises for us. This website is a vehicle and tool toward this end, as we share about God's generosity through story and resources.
Mission
There are values that our Nebraska Synod congregations share with the entire ELCA:

We are a church that belongs to Christ. There is a place for you here.

We are a church whose unity is in Jesus Christ, who gathers us around word and water, wine and bread.

We are a church that believes Jesus is God's "Yes" to us. Our lives can be a "Yes" to others.

We are a church that believes God is calling us into the world – together.

We are a church that rolls up our sleeves and gets to work.

We are a church that is a catalyst, convener and bridge builder.

We are a church that is energized by lively engagement in our faith and life.

We are a church that is deeply rooted – and always being made new.
"The Earth is the Lord's and all that is in it..." (Psalm 24:1, NRSV).
That means that we are all God's, and all that we have and all that we are, are God's too. What might that mean for us?
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice." (Philippians 4:4, NRSV).
We give thanks and praise to God through all that we do and all that we are, because we're so glad, joyful, and grateful for what God does through God's abundant love and generosity.
