Did you know that Santa Claus is very real, and that his real name is St. Nicholas? This year, Saint Nicholas Day is Monday, December 6th. Our family celebrates by giving gifts to one another (St. Nicholas was generous), giving gifts to others anonymously (St. Nicholas helped those in need), and by engaging in acts of service (St. Nicholas showed his faith in action).
There is also plenty of time to watch our favorite St. Nicholas movie (Veggie Tales, of course), and to eat oranges, candy canes, and chocolate coins (symbols of St. Nicholas). For more resources on celebrating St. Nicholas Day, check out this blog post:
